 About Us

Brian Hall V.P. 1 world Linked-Up

Hello from Brian Hall, Vice President of 1 World Linked-Up

I have worked as an internet promoter and videographer for several years. I became more and more aware that in today's market social networking is an essential aspect of business promotion.

Using my knowledge of the internet, the media wheel, information vs advertising, the consistency factor, and combining this with my ability as a photographer and videographer I realized I could provide needed services to business people in my community.

I have joined with Penelope Torribio, to create 1 World Linked-Up. I look forward to serving.

Penelope Torribio and 1 World Linked-Up

I am Penelope Torribio, founder of 1 World Linked-Up. I have been a web designer for many years. One thing has always been clear, you can have a wonderful web site, but if no one knows that it is there--you might as well not have spent your valuable time and money. Early on I became interested in internet marketing.

Social Networking Services

Since I began designing web sites, over ten years ago, things have changed and have become a bit more complex and a lot more interesting. Today most business owners need to have a web site and a presence on social media networking sites, especially: facebook, linkedin, Twitter, and vlogs or youtube.

For a number of business professionals who are already working as hard as they can, it can be a little daunting, but 1 World Linked-Up is here to help you design a plan and will work with you to help grow your presence on the internet through growing your name in your community.

Penelope is a web designer, photographer, author, singer-songwriter.  She has been interested in marketing for herself and her clients for nearly ten years. After a visit of a regional Chamber of Commerce meeting, she realized that there was a great need to provide simple, affordable services to local business.

Social Networking Info

COMMERCIAL OVER-POSTING IS PROHIBITED, PERIOD! Quote from Social Media Marketing.  I have to tell you this--social networking is not advertising. This is why it is more of an art form than a marketing form. Whether you do the social networking or we do the social networking it most  primarily mostly information--occasional and appropriately there can be references to businesses or products.

Here is a real-life quote that represents the approach to all social media.

"1. You can post something you feel will benefit the group, even if it is somewhat self-serving or has reasonable costs associated with it. There will undoubtedly be a number of people who might your product or service beneficial. What you CANNOT do is post the same thing over and over. That becomes spam and benefits no one.

2. Try to provide something of VALUE in every posting - a resource you have or found, a relevant article to a discussion, a presentation or research that is useful.

3. Be transparent and honest - a lot of very smart people are in this group and can see through flimsy or sales-y materials.

We all benefit from sharing knowledge and resources, and respecting the value of people's time. Here's to 2009, a great year for our business! "

Mike Crosson, Social Media Marketing.
